After the 10% coupon code and the $100 off AMEX offer ($500 min. - includes tax), I got this for a net $406 with tax. That total includes a Dell $15 wireless mouse which I added to my cart to get to the minimum $500 AMEX offer after applying the 10% coupon. It only took 3 business days for the $100 credit to be appear in my AMEX account. Plus, I got $27 Dell Rewards credits (applied a few days after I received the laptop) which I used for a free Dell 15-16" laptop sleeve. Thus, $406 with wireless mouse and laptop sleeve is a very good deal for a solid laptop with a Ryzen 7 250 - 16GB RAM, but without a backlit keyboard.

For laptops 500 and under. This does have 16GB DDR5
For $600, this is the better deal. Gigabyte Gaming A16 Laptop: i7-13620H, 16" 1200p 165Hz, RTX 4050, 16GB DDR5 This also only has an IGP integrated graphics processor, not a discrete card.

The screen is terrible; only 45% NTSC color range and 300 nits brightness. On top of that, the HDMI port only supports up to 1920x1080 @60Hz.

Better screen (100% sRGB color), better GPU, better video output ports. Good recommendation.

The Ryzen 250 is last generations chip relabelled. So its a Zen4 with the 12 core AMD Radeon 780M gpu


Not bad for less than $500. But for a little more you can get the Ryzen AI 350 (ZEN5)...
