Non-touch FHD IPS screen Windows laptop for $1k? Any slickdeal for a computer at the price should be 4K and/or OLED.

This a garbage deal.

This is the premium line so more of a business line like the higher end latitude vs a high end consumer laptop.

good thought...I would prefer 32gb for my uses plus I usually keep them for about 10 years

I much prefer IPS screens over OLED for computers...

This model replaces the Dell XPS and is very similar to its predecessors. This model should be around $720-799.

I have a touch screen on my home and work laptops. Rarely use it. The screen is 2K, not FHD. That hits a sweet spot. 4k is unnecessary on a 14" screen.
