Thanks! I'm in for my annual Walmart/Amazon electric blanket that lasts for about 5-6 months. 😂

I bought this last Nov. 24 for a dollar less and I use it to warm the bed before sleeping. It heats up pretty fast. Also, it has been through the washer a number of times and working/llooking fine.

Does it make sense to get the warranty for $2 on this? I know many people say they don't last very long

Amen, they don't last very long regardless of brand. I had a Sunbeam (purchased at WM) that may have lasted 4 months. Sunbeam refused to answer any emails or call me back when I contacted their warranty dept multiple times.

A lot of people mention sunbeam when they mention failures. I got a no-name brand from amazon a couple years ago and it works fine even after being washed multiple times. The screen filter came unglued on the inside of the controller at some point, but I think I could just pop it open and re-glue it if I cared to do so.

...so maybe.

Sunbeam is still based in Boca, find the 561 number.

It's a throw blanket, not a bed sized blanket. As for the size, that depends on your height and if you want full extension or if you curl your legs.
