Edit: was told if you had purchased the game in the past ps3/vita era it's free.

Yes as Fenikkusu updated, for a few months now, starting sometime when PSX versions of Resident Evil 2 and 3 became part of PlayStation Plus Premium "Classics" package, a "$0.00" download option becomes available for either / both PS4 and PS5 if you purchased a licensed copy on PSN previously (ie PS3/PSP/PSVita era) AND it's on said PlayStation Plus Premium's "Classics" listings. Check your account history even if you currently do not have PlayStation Plus in any form, it's not limited to PS1. I am able to download the PS2 version of Siren (and play it) alongside some other PS1 licenses I purchased (Jumping Flash, Hot Shots Golf 2)....and I have absolutely NO pP subscription at this time. Here is a listing of "classics" on the service you can likely download and play if bought a license previous but do not have PP currently: https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ps-plus/games/
