This is a great deal. This is the best CPU I've ever seen under $300. The performance here is 3 - 5x what you'd normally find in this price range.
8GB of RAM is pretty standard at these price levels but the great news is it has two DIMM slots only one of which is occupied. So you should be able to upgrade to 16GB for less than $40.
Also note that that CPU has Intel Xe graphics with 80 EUs. While I wouldn't buy this specifically for gaming, it is not bad for previous-gen games (most games before 2020) and approaches Steam Deck levels. This is also pretty rare to find at this price point.

The 16GB/512GB version is on clearance for $299 at Walmart. I just picked one up a few days ago. Check your local Walmart using the app to see if they have any in stock. Easiest way to find it on the app is by searching for 120U as there are many variations of the Vivobook.

No such luck. That model is currently $459 at Walmart.
