Bought this last month. It's awesome. Super powerful. But be careful those blades are sharp. I lost a chunk of my finger just picking it up

I can hear you. Due to this reason, I have returned it and got a dull blade Blendec (even Vitamix also have dull blade) and they both works great for years to come.

Please be careful with the Blendtec. There have been recent reports of them not being what they once were with reports of tiny bits of rubber appearing in post-blended foods.
