How does this work? Just shoots a jet of water like a hydro-cutter?

Does anyone know how this compares to Waterpik? My waterpik broke and I need a replacement. TIA

I bought two of these over two years ago and had to claim warranty in both of them. So far they've been good. I've never had a waterpik so I have nothing to compare. I previously had a battery powered Panasonic water flosser. The difference I noticed is the consistent power of 120v vs two-AA batteries that would run out of juice every six weeks. I set my flosser at the highest level and floss 3-5x daily. Dentist says I have great teeth and gums with zero gaps.

This thing is junk. Like the other person that added a comment that they bought two and had to claim warranty on both. Mine broke and I didn't even use it that often. I bought a Waterpik and it's much better. More powerful. But I still don't use it that often :-)

Yup! Don't point it at your teeth unless you want nubs.

Same here. This thing is junk and will break after a year. Warranty claimed two units and they actually discontinued it the second time and sent me the battery powered version.
