Usually i would thumb down a splice, but the area of split is better than horizontal cos of the weight of monitors

It's a decent standing desk for the price. Just keep in mind that the desk top comes in two pieces that connect to each other with small brackets. I've already experienced a little separation between where the two pieces meet.

Walmart got cheaper one with same size but tri-sliced in the middle. Hard to say which one is better. But the Walmart one must be bad.

Great price but I would advise to stay with 1-piece top. If you're handy enough to manage a perfect top with 2 pieces, then not an issue for you smart and capable people.

I almost always use a tablemat. Not just for the protection, but it just looks and feels better.
