I signed up with the link and can confirm it doesn't work on any device that isn't a fire tv device. Tried using it on my phone, browser, and LG tv and it doesn't work on any of them. Tried logging in directly through HBO and using prime as a service provider and got an error saying HBO can't verify my subscription.

Amazon and Roku have advertised that they will offer 12 months of HBO Max for $2.99 a month starting tomorrow. (The regular price is $10.99 a month.) A Hulu/Disney Plus bundle of $4.99 a month is also expected to be added on Monday. Paramount Plus will be reduced to $2.99 a month for two months starting on Tuesday.

^this.. I'm more of a binge watcher like GoT series. I couldn't make it through the first two episodes with all the ads interrupting the flow of the story. Lack of 4K is also a buzz killer. I want to see the glass half full but I hate commercials.

Saw the FIre device info and thought I was out of luck with my AppleTV, but looks like it works fine just logging into my account on web browser. Plus, for a whole year this time, so I won't have to cancel it in May again..

Got it on the firestick. Just find an HBO show and subscribe. The $2.99 for 12 months option will display.

I was able to switch the same plan that I currently have for $4.50 to $2.99.
Just go to change plan and one can switch from there..
Good deal saved me few dollars.
