Seems like a good deal. Even though I think Lithium-ion batteries can easily outlast all of the other cheap components that go into these. One thing to remember. mAh is not capacity, mAh times voltage is (or Watt hours). So this should be 48 watt hours since Lifepo4 cells are 3.2 volts. If this was Lithium-ion it would be rated at about 13,000mAh since those cells are 3.7 volts.
I'm not sure I understand your point LifePO4 can easily outlast lithium ion. You don't mean lifespan. You mean charging capacity, correct?

I to have the GENDOME version that looks identical to this one. It may be heavier than most but it charges our iPhones crazy fast. Favorite of all my chargers so ordered one of these so the family stops using mine 😁.

If you are referring to my comment about the cheap components. I just meant that a lot of these I have bought have stopped working randomly before the batteries went bad. So putting batteries with a longer lifespan won't help that. But that isn't entirely true. I have had plenty that had their batteries go bad while they still worked.

Do you own research and ignore the supposed experts on this post. Everyone has access to AI so use AI and don't get expert engineering advice on Slickdeals. This site is about deals. Not about battery chemistry.
What are you talking about? This deal is all about the battery chemistry. The pros and cons of this charger are completely different than a lithium-ion charger because of the LifePO4 battery.

Seems like a great deal, but always worry about these no name brand companies and all the LiOn batteries catching on fire - is Autel considered a decent brand?
This is branded as Autel but actually a product from Gendome. The manufacturer is Gotion. They are a large company that manufactures batteries for EVs. Gotion is partly owned by Volkswagen Group. Also, this is UL listed and has the Triple C certification (if you ever want to travel in China).
I have the Gendome labeled version of this exact same power bank. Love it. Only downside is that LFP take up more space for the capacity, so the power bank is quite large for a 15,000mAh. Still a worthy tradeoff for the first LFP power bank on the market. More stable chemistry.

Every Single Power Bank I have owned has not died from the battery going out, all of them eventually develop problems with the USB connectors. A couple of these I disassembled and repaired. It's been a trend.

Good for you. I've had multiple fail and I strive to keep them in the 20-80% range.

These also should (emphasis, should) fare better in hotter climate. They'll still warn to avoid, but if you leave one in your glovebox in 120 degree summer heat, the Li-ion will be toast after one year, two at the most. These will hopefully last longer... Like when you really need it.

do you r research the internal battery is 3.2v so when you connect something that is 5v or even 12v for QC this will give you lower capacity that means that the 15000mah will be translated to 3000mah or less, check the reviews
The capacity is still the same. The draw/supply rates is what I think you mean.

All LFPs will be more bulky than traditional Li-Ion/Polymer.

You trade slower charging and more bulk/weight, for 5x longer lifespan... And far less impact from draining and fully charging.

It is not a deal for everyone, but if you need a CCC cert battery pack, this is the cheapest one by far.
