Only wonder how long the mouse lasts with under glow at 30%
I ordered this, and I can say I've used it for almost three hours with lights on, and I'm at 97% battery. Seems I'm getting about an hour out of each percent of battery at the current rate. YMMV
Sigh, I just bought a "Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K" a couple of days ago for $74 (it was $92 Used, Like New, with a 20% off coupon, might still be there, I dunno because I already used mine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...7EE7U53NWQ , NOTE: it selects condition "Good", check the other options for "Used, Like New").
I don't think there are any other differences other than a 35k sensor instead of 30k, which I don't care about... have to check to make sure. If so... unless I get lucky and really get a "Like New" one, I think I would rather this deal for a new one for $10 more.
I currently have a v1 Basilisk, used many hours a day for the last 4.5 years, mostly productivity but some gaming, and it has been great! Getting a new one because I have completely work through the rubber on both sides of the mouse, and the wheel is starting to get flakey. Not a big deal TBH, it still has live in it, but these v3 mice have the smart freewheeling mouse wheel that I miss SO MUCH after switching from Logitech to Razer cos I got sick of the double click issue.
Note that these mice are compatible with the wireless charging pad/receiver plus wireless puck, a similar system that my v1 has, and it is AWESOME, I always have a place to put the mouse when done working, and I have NEVER had to worry about battery life. The only issue with the v1 charger was that it has metal contacts that have to align which is a bit of a PITA, this new version looks WAY better. THe downside is that it is $70 and rarely goes on sale. These were out of stock for like the first year of availability and being scalped for $150 or more and selling for that all day long. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DG6QJDFY. If you don't mind doubling your investment, these charing docks with receiver are awesome.
Considering buying one of these new while this price is still good, and returning whichever one makes sense.
Great mouse. I always hated razer products but glad I gave this one a try. Light and responsive. Is the coupon gone for everyone else?
Yep, coupon is gone for me too. Thankfully the $75 "Used, Like New" Basilisk V3 35K Pro actually was "like new", still had the cellophane stickers on the mouse and parts. This is basically the same as the mouse in this post, and it is a nice upgrade to the Basilisk Ultimate (v1 basically), the smart scroll wheel is awesome, just like on the Logitechs I left behind a few years ago. The Dock Pro is also awesome, worth the money to me to never have to worry about a dead mouse battery.
