Very slightly, yes IMO. The all blue is the original release. Some people (me included) find that original bottle to be a bit more mineralic-- some call it an eggy vibe. The new bottle with the gradient (clear base and blue top) is probably 90-95% similar by most accounts, just a bit softer on the blend. The classic AdG minerality is still there, but it feels a bit sweeter and doesn't risk that "egg" vibe that some experienced with the original. I prefer the newer bottle/gradient design-- both for the scent and for the bottle itself. Disclaimer that fragrance is subjective. I'm sure there are people who staunchly claim that there is no difference between the two releases.

If you live near an outlet mall that has a Lux Cosmetics store in it, their prices are killer. I picked up the 2.5 oz bottle of Aqua Di Gio Parfum for $48. YSL Y was just in significant savings as well.
