I was in the same boat, and went with the verizon offer. I'm on the cheapest verizon plan and never get free phone offers so when one did come along I jumped

How freindly is T-mobile to pay the device and cancel the service within couple of days and have no bill afterwards? can wait for 60 days to unlock.
- Note: Offer valid for new customers and existing customers adding a new line to their account (device upgrades on existing lines are not eligible).
This bullet point was in OP's description. I read the terms and conditions and don't see this verbiage for AT&T- Purchase Requirements: Eligible smartphone must be purchased and remain on a qualifying 0% APR 36-month installment plan with monthly payments of up to $55.56. $0 down is available for well-qualified customers; others may require a down payment. Other installment options may vary by account type. Customers must pay tax on full retail price and an activation/upgrade fee of $35 per line.
- Eligible Plans: The offer requires a postpaid unlimited voice and data plan starting at $75.99/mo. before discounts if new customer for single line of AT&T Unlimited Starter SL; plus, taxes and fees. AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy. AT&T 55+, Value Plus, Value Plus VL, and Value Plus Unlimited plans are not eligible. See att.com/unlimited for current unlimited plans.
I done the Walmart GC Deal on two separate Black Fridays and it was always an upgrade, never adding any line to my account. Is this a TYPO?Checked the ATT iPhone 17 Pro 512gb, 36$ for 36 payment plus 75$ monthly carrier contract payment for 36 months, 36x36+75x36+ activate + tax - 300 Walmart GC, can easily go above $3600 for 3 year cost.
Ended by using my Chase UR (I have 200000+ points) points transfer to Apple GC at 90% discount, then used the GC bought the unlocked Phone.
So the total 3 year cost can be like 1300$+30(prepaid monthly payment)x36 ~ 2400$, neglect the coverage/speed difference between major carrier and prepaid carriers....

When I get to the last page before adding to cart, it has a different monthly plan. It says
"$45.99/mo for MOBILE SHARE DEVICE"
On my bill, that phone line I am using to upgrade is on a $35.99/mo plan. Is anyone else having this issue?
