Am I suppose to initiate an intent to trade-in before I complete the Walmart order? I thought that's usually how it goes...
No, just go to the store and trade it in. They're not going to deny you because you didn't tell them you were going to trade it in. Should take less than 10 min in store.

My wife's ATT account doesn't seem to permit Walmart login but mine does. She's too busy to go to the store to get the phone so I just ordered it on my ATT account.

Is it easy to switch the phone into her account? I have no desire to use an iPhone.

On AT&T iPhone 17 Pro, Pro Max get $1100 bill credits if you trade in iPhone 14 Pro Max or higher, $700 in bill credits in iPhone 14 Pro or lower, or if you get the iPhone 17 or iPhone Air:If I have an iPhone 14 Pro, am I shit out of luck? Do trade in values ever go up? Is it on purpose in conjunction with the promotion?
I traded in 13 pro max directly through at&t for 17 pro max in October and got $1100 credit.

When placing this order, All along the process it says due today to Walmart as $0 and the phone installment, ATT monthly wireless plan fee and activation all goes to future ATT bill. But when checkout at the last confirming step the today charge today changes to $51.81, with no explanation whatsoever that is. Chatted twice and agent can't figure it out. Anyone seen the same?

*I think I figured it out it is sales tax of device.

I am trying to upgrade through verizon exisiting line which is eligible to upgrade. Upon verify with text code, I was asked to do a financing review and then taking into a device payment page shows $36.08/mo for 36 month, and no where it ask for trade in, this also appears within walmart site not on Verizon site? Am I doing it wrong?

Yeah the interface is hit or miss. My wife's ATT account won't log in but my account will.

We did a similar deal with Costco. Switched from Verizon to ATT for an iPhone 17 Pro trade-in. Upside, our ATT bill is now less. Downside, ATT locks your phone for the full 36mo. While Verizon only locks for 60 days. So, if you travel internationally, won't be able to install any eSIMs like Airalo or Holafly.

I have a tmobile plan i don't want to change and last need to buy a new 17 pro max. Is this even worth it for me? All the prices I see are like $1100 plus $xx a month; no full prices listed?

no one wants to use the service, just get the phone for less money

$36.09 x 36 + $75 + $35 activation fee + tax -$300 gift card

New account, eSIM swap, unlock request, cancellation all can be done within 3 days

plus get activation fee and other charges waived

You will end up paying around $1120 for iPhone 17 pro 512 GB
Can you elaborate a bit more on this?

Better off using a mobile 5g hotspot and put your foreign sim card in that. Then all of your devices and phones connect to the hotspot for data and you can get calls using WiFi calling. You save since you don't need a sim card for each phone.

Walmart reps were useless as usual. First they denied the deal exists. Then they said it's online only. Then they said to wait for another rep to come back from her break. No one came eventually and even the first rep disappeared.

So target doing 200 GC for the same? I can't find it anywhere. was it only in-store?
