All time low for this. This is not the newer one that supports CarPlay, it's only Android Auto. The ability to change the DPI is the killer reason to get this over all the other wireless adapters.
There's like at least 10+ wireless android auto/carplay adapters on Amazon that are this price or less. What makes this one any special?
Based on the reviews I read before I purchased this device some are very sluggish or delayed. I've been very happy with my AAwireless 2.
That being said, I did gamble on a random wireless apple play device from Amazon based on positive reviews for my girlfriend and it has also worked very well with minimal fussing aside from needing to be unplugged/plugged back in now and then. My AAwireless has not needed even that level of fussing though.
Ordered on March 2025, stopped working last month October 2025, got replacement under warranty a few weeks ago and all is good. I was really surprised it messed up so soon, purchased after my second Motorola MA1 Failed after a little over a year of use.
Bought this one a few months ago, after getting annoyed with ma1 drops on my drive to work every day. The connection on this thing is rock solid. The phone battery does take a dive most of the time when connected, but I don't think it's the fault of the dongle.

I've been using the 2+ version since July (early access). The 2+ was able to fix a navigation audio stutter issue I've experienced with other dongles, via an option in the companion app. CarPlay has been stable with no disconnects so far for me. Firmware updates are easily done via the iOS app, including the option to downgrade if something breaks.

Purchased the AAWireless Two in September at regular price after our 4th Motorola M1A crapped out and got tired of troubleshooting.
If you've got wired Android Auto, this is the unit to get to go wireless. Tried several knockoffs for their form factor and connection style and all were unreliable or tended to overheat.
Our AAWireless Two has been fantastic. Solid fast connection and switches between our two S25+ automatically!
My first version is still working like a champ after all these years
I came here to say the same thing, I still use the my original AAWireless from Indiegogo daily … it just works.
To those asking why this one and not a cheaper version, AAWireless is reliable and well supported. They were one of the first, if not the first to successfully bring a wireless AA adapter to market and have been supporting and improving it ever since.

Strongly recommend too. I had issues with my cabled connections disconnecting or not connecting at all. This device made it so that's a non issue!
