The BIQU CryoGrip Panda build plate is a cool plate aimed at improving first-layer adhesion on Bambu printers, especially when filament is dry and the bed is clean but prints still struggle to stick. It is described as stronger than the stock plate and, in some cases, easier to use than Bambu's version because parts release more cleanly after cooling. The main tradeoff is that it can be very sticky, with support brims or large-base prints sometimes clinging too hard, and longer prints may still warp. It also tends to attract lint after washing, so it works best when you want extra grip without constant bed prep.

Note that BIQU direct site has these on sale too including the pro editions for about this same price. (Shipping isn't free though until you hit $59).

I have the Pro Glacier and Frostbite and they're amazing compared to the oem PEI plate. Strong adhesion but prints come off easily when plate cools down. I use the Bambu cool plate preset.

so we dont have to make any changes to the filament settings or bed temperature, just select the Bambu cold plate and hit slice?

Highly recommend the BIQU plate over the bambu version of it. These have excellent adhesion but the Bambu version is almost too much. I have printed several things on the Bambu version where the part comes off but any support brim is almost permanently adhered to the surface. Like, to the point that I avoided using the plate entirely bc of the hassle.
From my understanding only the first batch of the cool tack plates were that strong. Many people buying later versions have reported that it isn't as strong, to the point of the newer versions not adhering well enough.

Will this work with the P2S?
Yes. Any P1S plate will work for P2S. Caveat is that the P2S supports a newer QR code standard to identify plates and auto adjust temps etc. If the plate doesn't have an actual P2S QR code then it won't be auto identified but you can still manually set bed temp in slicer. (Just setup generic cool build plate profile or pick the Bamboo cool plate profile and choose that each time.) You can also find websites with QR codes to print out and tape onto edge of build plate to have printer to identify it - I've seen this for P1S but not sure how many are out there for PS2 yet

Fyi - the BIQU website has the CryoGrip Pro for Bambu (X1/P1/P2/A1) build plate on sale for $15.49 plus shipping. (A1 mini for $11.59) Might be worth it if this Amazon sale one is a non-pro version. I prefer the pro version because it's nice and blue so you know it's a cold plate from across the room - vs looking very similar (dark grey) to any other generic hot build plate.

Agreed, I try not to use it whenever supports are involved. I've busted knuckles trying to scrape off the remnants even after freezing the plate.
