Best use case for me is when you're still having adhesion issues even after drying out your filament and cleaning your print bed. But yeah, it's good for that. Makes some of the cheaper filament deals you find on here more usable lol

Highly recommend the BIQU plate over the bambu version of it. These have excellent adhesion but the Bambu version is almost too much. I have printed several things on the Bambu version where the part comes off but any support brim is almost permanently adhered to the surface. Like, to the point that I avoided using the plate entirely bc of the hassle.

This plate is great and has worked well for me for the past 3 months.

Print adhesion is alot stronger than stock less adhesion issues when not 100% clean. The plate is a lint magnet when wiping down after washing. That's probably the only con.

do you change the plate temperature or do you run it hot still? I'm thinking about getting it, but i dont really want to have to rememer to lower the bed temp every time or doing it on every single filament setting. unless there is a permanent way of doing it. Maybe there is a option to pick the bambu version of this on the printer setting so its done automatically?

thanks

What I do is shake it off and throw it on the print bed at 100°C for a few minutes to dry rather than wipe off.

I've heard that the Cryogrip Standard plate is thin compared to the Pro (the blue one)

I never adjust plate temp but did realize that the plate temp was almost always at the top end limit for this plate on most print profiles. It hasn't been an issue.

No stock showing on the CryoGrip version for the A1 Mini. They do have the other styles.

I've had this for about a year now. It was great for a few months but longer prints tend to warp unfortunately. I've tried cleaning it per BIQU's recommendations but it hasn't helped and I'm definitely considering just going back to my PEI plate.

They are and honestly this isn't that good a deal. You can get the cryogrip pro which is the best adhering plate I have ever used for the same price on biqus website right now. It's 7 layers vs 1 on this. Get the cryogrip pro

I have a blue one of these, and it is wildly sticky. Almost too sticky sometimes. I have to switch back to my stock plate if im printing something with a large base.
