Kitchen shears are stainless steel all the way deep into the handles so you can put torque on them to cut through meat, then just take them apart and toss in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize.
I have more HF scissors than I can count (it was my go to free item for years) and they are for paper and thin plastic only. Disposable garbage compared to the Zwilling or Henckels.
Even when Zwilling or Henckels kitchen shears start to wear out and don't cut through meat as easily, you can still use them for cardboard and tougher things that the HF scissors can't cut when new.
