I too am wondering if we can cancel our current plan on jump on this new deal. Currently paying $5.00 per month ($60) so $24 for the year is a great deal. I know this is linked to our current cvs card# so not sure if just signing up with a different email might be required or maybe we would need to also get a new cvs card #? Hopefully a current member will try this once it's live and report back.

Also I'm wondering if you do sign up when it goes live if you get a $10 certificate for November yet or does it start on Dec 1st?

When I signed up for the $5 plan, it gave the $10 credit instantly, and that happens every month thereafter. So for me, it's on the 1st, which is the day of the month that I originally signed up on. So I'm wondering if I cancel right now, if I could then sign up on the 27th, which would then change my new date to the 27th. I'm just hoping CVS is desperate enough to let this fly, and I'll take one for the team and try. I'll report back on the 27th to let all know how it goes.

So, you pay $24 for a year of $10 monthly credits that expire at the end of your current cycle. Assuming you join on the 27th, then the $10 allotment will expire on the 26th, and you must use the whole $10 in one transaction, or you lose the remainder.

Edit: The $10 allotment can be used for anything online and in-store, but if you use these EB, it won't count toward the free shipping minimum, and it won't count toward 'spend X to get Y back' online, unless you use it in the store. So expect surprises with this allotment as it's not... always treated as equal to cash.

So, yes, you're getting $240 in EB for $24 in real dollars, but to CVS, these EB are not always equal to cash.

The email I received said this must be purchased in store:
"Enrollment offer valid in store only from November 27 to December 31, 2025."

Anyone noticed they stopped sending those weekly $3/$4 off coupons?

Honestly a great deal, because you pay them $24, and they give you $120 in Extrabucks rewards across the year. Meaning that they are paying you $96 to join this program. My only concern, is the articles online saying that they plan to close something like 3,000 locations by the end of 2026, and open all of their new stores inside of Targets (which are mostly just the pharmacy part).

10 dollars to spend how you like at once. Basically a 10$ off coupon. You don't keep excess. I think you have to use it within the month. I've had it for years and have some months just used it to get snacks.
