PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

Been waiting for this, the price hikes are a shame tho.
2 years ago this was $2, last year it was $3 and it's $5.
The access to new Disney movies, FX Hulu shows and the simpson library is worth it I think.

Got spoiled by previous years. Next year it will be mute as they phase out Hulu and roll all into Disney. I think it's a bad move. As I feel Hulu has a wider appeal over Disney. Even if all same content now.

Sounds to me that now that Disney controls it entirely, they are forcing you to subscribe to D+ now in order to get Hulu. In the past it was separate.

Is there any option to just get Hulu @ $3/mo this year? An extra $2 for D+ isn't a big deal, I'd rather keep it separate though.
