PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

Thanks! I get hulu with my spotify membership, so this saved me $10, we don't really shop at kroger because its so expensive but disney plus makes it worth it.

No worries! You also get $20 off your first order from Krogers with the Boost membership. So it's kinda like $30 for Boost membership and Disney. Really good value imo

Walmart, winco, and costco, maybe its cheaper where you are, but Smiths (Kroger) here is easily 20-30% more expensive than walmart on just about everything. Sometimes the coupons will bring certain items down below walmart and I'll go for that specific item, but nothing else as its just so much more for everything else. They do have better selection though, so if I am looking for something different then I may go to smiths.

I've found this with ads to be unwatchable for shows, tolerable for movies. There seems to be an ad every 4 minutes in the shows - movies it's more like every 15-20 min. And they run one before it even starts, so you can't stream a little to see if you even want to watch the thing. Anyway, think carefully before locking yourself into a year with the ads.

AT $2 a month it was horrible when I tried it but now at $5 a month I don't even understand why anyone is signing up for it. The ads are ridiculous on HULU. If you can't purchase ad-free then watch the shows online. I mean it's that bad.

I've had this deal from last year and it was $2.99. So they nearly doubled the price. Still a deal compared to regular price, but much more than previous years.

Those ads are crazy aggressive. If i am watching cable, i wouldnt really mind(i dont know why) but if i am watching the OTT , i would expect interruption-free.

No. You can still use the hulu app you just need to go into your disney plus account first and link it to your hulu account. Once I did that I was able to log into hulu directly.

I literally hate Hulu with ads but it's my only affordable option right now. Does anyone know if there is a Starz add-on this year? I couldn't care less about Disney. Truly have no need for it.

One new thing I noticed this year is that when you log in to the Hulu site with the same credentials you used to sign up for the Disney subscription, it still prompts you to resubscribe. This wasn't the case last year, when a single subscription was recognized across both domains.
