Is this going to be the new $1 Hulu with ads Black Friday deal? Asking for a friend
I think so, I'd be surprised if Hulu offers a better deal than this since it's all owned by Disney.

Them stifling free speech with Kimmel made me finally cancel this. Disney needs to fire the morons that made that decision to earn back trust first.
I agree and now they have the nerve to raise the price.

Good deal for the year. Was hoping it was going to stay @ $3, only keeping it for the grandson and Disney.

For those already using their Amex to pay, if you switch to a new account , you need a new payment? Then we'd lose the Amex credit...
Do you need a new payment card? Not sure if things changed now but used to use the same payment in the past with Hulu. If you have an Amex you could get an additional companion card which has no fee. You will still get the credit.

When you see how popular ads subscriptions are, you wonder why streaming services even bother with no-ads tiers.

Pretty easy to set up your wifi router to use AdGuard DNS and block the Disney+ ads...
Could you please explain how to set it up on xfinity?

Might just be that we have different taste in programming but I really like Hulu.
Some of the Hulu shows are listed here.
it has a lot of good shows. Sadly, or not, I've watched them all! LOL. Good for the first year and then it's spent

This is the most ridiculous comment ๐Ÿ˜„ $0 + "iffy at best" = spend $60/yr anyways
How so? It's $5/month. I don't sweat $5/mo if it makes my kids slightly happier. Just saying it's not worth much more than that to me. YMMV

Paying for ads ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘…๐Ÿ‘ข
right! remember when we got tv over the air, it was free but we had to watch ads. Now we pay for the honor of receiving their network, then have to watch ads.

Keep in mind that pretty much ALL the 'with ads' packages offered by ALL streaming companies only send you limited color space HD (not 4K) and at best 5.1 Dolby sound.

If this doesn't matter to you, the ad based subscriptions are a decent deal.

But if it does (it does to me), it's pure torture to get lower quality images/sound and then ads on top of that.

The 'no ads' packages send the highest quality images and sound available with no specific ad breaks, but there's still a shit-ton of product placement in almost every scene. I find product placement far less obtrusive than five or ten commercial breaks per episode or movie.

According to Gemini AI, there might be a .99 cent Hulu deal separate from the bundle deal dropping tomorrow, 11/25/2025. I'll hold off for a few more days until I see it.
I have a feeling Gemini is just basing that on previous year deals,I would be surprised if there is going to be similar 99ยข deal this year because why would they release this separate deal first? In the past it was always the Hulu deal for 99ยข then Disney+ was an optional add on to that deal.

Really tryna reel people back in after the mass customer exodus
If that's the case then they're doing a terrible job because this promo is $2 more per month then it's been the last 6 or 7 years.

Hooooooold lads!

Last year they did the same thing then dropped it to 2.99 during cyber Monday week! Won't hurt to wait a few days. And use a new email if you've had hulu or d+ within the last year.

Sounds to me that now that Disney controls it entirely, they are forcing you to subscribe to D+ now in order to get Hulu. In the past it was separate.

Is there any option to just get Hulu @ $3/mo this year? An extra $2 for D+ isn't a big deal, I'd rather keep it separate though.
They have been sending out codes in emails for a while with 2.99 for hulu for 6 months that expire on dec 10.

This gets asked several times every year and the answer is no.
