PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

It is available on Disney plus, it's a tab on the top of the screen. My question is how do you log into the app by itself? I like the interface better on the Hulu app, but it says I need to resubscribe when using my login, while the Disney app logs me in no problem after doing this deal. It all routes through the same login, so I'm confused

Which deal is this you're referring to? Ads on streaming is atrocious. The nerve they had to introduce this. It was likely their plan all along.

At checkout for the $5 with ads bundle there's an option to upgrade to no ads for $10 more monthly. I'll probably do that and use my $10 per month AMEX Blue Cash Preferred credit to get the no ads bundle for $5 monthly for a year. Get 6% back on the charge too. The monthly credit is $7 for Blue Cash Everday. Has to be enrolled in on the AMEX website. Rewards & Benefits section.

Anyone confirm the promo worked? I got billed for the $4.99 but when I look at my subscription it shows $12.99. It does say promotion expires, but could of swore it showed the discount price in the past.

It should state the charge for next month and it should show the correct discounted price

I barely ever use this even though I get it every year. They're almost pricing themselves out of impulse subscribe and don't think about it territory. If I want to watch something with ads I can watch Pluto or Tubi or something for free.

It should show both this $4.99 w/ ads and $14.99 premium w/o ads. I see both options.
