PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

So I have Disney premium through Verizon and I decided to give this a shot, hoping to save some money but my goodness to ads with Disney+ are terrible. I counted like six ads within a movie. That makes an hour and a half movie probably over two hours. I just can't do it.

Honestly, the ads have been getting worse, more frequent. And if you missed like 10 seconds of the show after the ad and you decide to rewind those 10 seconds, it'll make you rewatch ads again. Their app just sucks overall too. Not really worth it anymore, imo.

This deal happens every year. It's always had ads. What did you expect for $5? lol there is option #2 $14.99 a month for the premium bundle w/o ads
