PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

Any deal for ad-free plan?
$14.99/mo for a year for ad-free Disney+Hulu. Is that cheaper than normal?

Can someone pls describe what happens (ideally) when using AdGuard DNS to block Disney+ ads? Does the show continue seamlessly, with a brief blip, or are you staring at a blank screen for a minute or two to wait for the commercial block to end? Would this block only work for PCs or could your TV be included? And is there a step-by-step guide? TIA.
For educational purposes, one could apply the AdGuard DNS server IP addresses as mapped out in 'Option 2' in the how-to posted on https://adguard-dns.io/en/public-dns.html and all ads will be blocked when viewing Disney+ content. Whether you watch a movie or TV show, it will be seamless. No gaps, no blank screens, no blips. This works successfully on AppleTV. Again..this is for educational purposes, because we wouldn't want to deprive Mickey of his ad money.

Its usually $15+ just for Hulu premium so Disney+Hulu premium is worth more than $20. I also bought the $14.99 deal, ads suck lol

It's not one of the usual offers. You have to go to the Rewards & Benefits section of the AMEX website/app, view all card benefits and you should see an option to enroll in a monthly Disney streaming credit.

To be clear, you believe that HBOMAX and Disney+ are run by the same company?
You know what I meant. They are all housed under the same plan/bundle. Whether you buy from the hbo max site or the disnety site you can bundle the 2. So they seem to be considered the same platform/one account.

Can we cancel before 1 year? I mean, does it mean I should sign-up for whole year to get this price?

Thanks. This is still low enough that the AmEx benefit covers it, my kids will be happy.
Yeah that's what we do every Black Friday. Amex covers Hulu .$99 and we would add Disney $ 1.99 and then add both Starz $.99 and HBO Max for $16.00. So we were getting 4 streaming channels for like net $2-3 after the $20 monthly Amex streaming credit. Then we get Paramount+ with the free Walmart+ Amex deal. Then with T-Mobile our Apple+ was free but now it's gonna be $3 and our Netflix Premium is like reduced to $18 with T-Mobile (they offer a free Netflix with ads but we prefer the discount) We get Peacock yearly for $20 when they offer their specials. I share my stuff with my sister and she in turn shares her Spectrum streaming info. I believe she also gets a few streaming channels for free with her cable package which we have for overflow but usually have zero problems with sharing.

Strictly for my own personal enlightenment and educational purposes, is this a free publicly available DNS server or should I pay for a subscription?

Can you at least create two separate accounts, one for HBO and one for Disney which is $8 combined - and have the Amex BCE take $7 off?

For me it worked, i even paired with the amex offer and today I got an email saying that I got the statement credit from what I paid yesterday (and I had the same message as you on the $12 and the promotion valid until next year)"As part of your Card benefits, you've earned a $5.39 statement credit because you used your enrolled Blue Cash Everyday® Card for a qualifying subscription purchase made online at U.S. websites Disneyplus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.espn.com. Please keep in mind that subscriptions are subject to auto-renewal."
Can you have two separate accounts (Hulu + Disney+ and Hulu + HBO Max) and get $7 off? Like if $5 plus $3 plus tax is around $8.50, will Amex give you $5.50 for Disney and the remaining $1.50 for HBO?
