PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

Me too, but I didn't get Starz.I canceled before Halloween in hopes the deal would be the same. You need that month window to qualify.
i canceled a week ago and it ended yesterday and I qualify for this but I'm waiting on tomorrow to grab this, hbo for $3/m and hopefully Peacock for $20/yr

I feel the same way. Haven't paid for any streaming service whatsoever in at least a decade until I bit on the $3 deal last year. Barely watched it due to very little content of interest. I could maybe excuse that very little content for $3 again, but I doubt I'll be able to pull the trigger on $5.

I signed up a new account before even checking if my current was eligible like I do every year. Just assumed it was for new sign up only

At this point, it only makes sense to subscribe to these streaming services on Black Friday

I have the American Express $7 credit available.
If I sign up for hulu/disney deal at $5, add HBO at $3 = $8 total, will American Express issue the full $7/month credit for a net of $1. Thanks…
Where is the option to add HBO through Disney at $3? I'm not seeing it. TIA

Fun facts ..Star Trek TOS in the late 60's had 51 Minutes of show, 9 mins of Ads..Star Trek TNG in early 90's had 46 min of show, and 14 mins of Ads ...just tried to watch some old Northern Exposure on the wifes Prime acct ..was about 5-6 mins of show then 1-3 mins of Ads ...on various streams with Ads ..seems to be Ads getting more and more time...

How much is Disney paying to have this permanently at the top of the front page deals?

Seems like paying to pay (with uncontrollable ads)... why?
I did the hulu thing a while back and it's shameful how there are far more ads, repetitive and long, than network tv ever had. I couldn't stand it.

I hate the ads but I don't know if it's worth $120 year for no ads
I think this really depends on how much you like Hulu & Disney plus and how much content you watch on those platforms.
For me, I like Hulu and some of their original programming but it's something I can live without.

Would I pay $19 a months for ad free? No
Would I pay a $1 a month with ads? Heck yeah
Would I pay $5 a month with ads when there isn't really anything on Disney Plus for me? This one is a bit tougher sell for me than the promo last year for $1 a month but $5 is still reasonable to me since there is original content that I enjoy on Hulu.

I keep making a new email to take advantage of this deal, this our third year and we split it with my brother so $2.5 each lol
have you ever had issues sharing?

last year I shared with a family member who was living in a different place and they kept getting a message saying they were not in the "home location".

They marked themselves as traveling, but after two different times they got a message saying they exceeded the travel option and were no longer able to access Disney.

With ads, huh? No thanks, they'd have to pay me to watch ads.

I have a question.
Is the Hulu part of this part of the Disney + app or can I download Hulu separately and login
Thank you!
