PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

So I cancelled my previous promo (last years Black Friday price of 2.99 a month) and signed up again for this year Black Fridays deal 4.99 a month. I didn't have to make a new account using a new email or new payment method.

Is Hulu w/ads and Disney with ads intrusive with long and/or frequent ads? I'm used to Peacock w/ads. I am deciding whether it is worth spending the extra $10/month for ad free for a service I will use on occasion. Thanks.

Hulu's the worst with ads. I'll never use their service again unless it's ad-free.

I did this deal last year (it was $2.99) and I was able to block ads on all of my devices using Adguard DNS. Go to this site and scroll down to option 2 https://adguard-dns.io/en/public-dns.html. Now I have no more ads on Disney+ on my AppleTV, iPhone, iPad, and Firestick.

There are endless ads. Like 3-4 breaks in a 30 min episode of many shows. And the same ads endlessly. It is not worth it. Value your time!

Honestly, your deal is much better than the OP. Most people have hulu free in some way or another.I get mine free with T-Mobile. Hard to beat free delivery on grocery for $5 a month plus free Disney.You the real MVP. Ordered mine today.
