It was this price earlier this week without a coupon. The better deal was last week when there was a combo of a k1 max + space pi plus for $379 before 20% off. The k1's all have substantial bed warping. The YouTube channel NeedItMakeIt has good videos about shimming it and using creality helper script to improve bed leveling and better account for warping (you absolutely need to heat soak the bed before probing for best results)

Did not know that, I was considering a k1c. I did read the LiDAR leveling on the Max frequently messes up so that was a motivator to go k1c and take the smaller print volumn
