Is this an older model, and there is another close to this size with a good amount more power? I'm trying to tell myself I don't need another impact.....

The ATOMIC DCF923 (or DCF921 with 1/2" anvil) is about the same size but with more torque. Both this and the ATOMIC are current models.

The reply section may become a mess if its all combined. Having a dedicated thread to each tool allows people to research what SDers say about the tool and price, something I ALWAYS check before buying (or many times even clicking the link to the item)
