It's disgusting how you people (staff) only care about being monetized without any regard to the minimum you should consider: even if you want to push garbage, should you do it if it's potentially harmful? you are promoting a mere savings of $4 when the potential cost is thousands from an emergency room operation!
I'm so sick of staff promoting garbage on this once useful website!

though it is tragic that someone cut themselves. Get off your high horse. Knives are sharp and a cheap knife is always dubious.
Take some personal responsibility in life. I've cut myself many times with cheap knives and I never blamed anyone but myself.
I suppose slickdeals should stop promoting power tools because people get hurt with those all the time.
Not all knives lock or are inherently safe. I tend to be careful with those.
if you really want to have impact, get the product pulled by consumer product safety commission. they take dangerous products very seriously!
In any case thanks for your feelings and authority on slickdeals product safety.
I don't get where she's being a "Karen" by simply expressing her opinion. Can't believe you really got that triggered and offended over nothing, really. Just take a deep breath, log off of Slickdeals for a few hours, and go get some fresh air.
