The model in this deal does NOT bear the UL listed mark (as documented in Amazon reviews) nor does the model name appear in the Intertek search above.
Amazon offers unlisted smoke detectors, with X-Sense being a leading brand associated with this trend.

I will defer to resources such as the city of Marietta, Georgia:
"Non UL-Listed Smoke Alarms Pose Safety Risks and Are Illegal"

Good luck!

this we bought a 6 pack setup last year and the battery is the bigger sized ones... so far so good... its nice to get notifications on phone when smoke is detected even when away... especially if you have roommates
Was about to buy it but saw the video with the fire and exhaust from tailpipe and alarm didn't go off. LOL Going to just get the regular ones.. unnecessary tech in something as simple as a fire alarm.

Any detector going through screening may drive some questions (not unlike a selfie-stick, large flashlight, or any electronic that isn't a phone or laptop). However, an ionizing detector could only increase that scrutiny.
In any case you want to locate a model with a removeable battery. For a smoke detector one candidate would be the First Alert P1000 Atom model. Note that this will be difficult for buyers in jurisdictions such as California where sealed lifetime batteries are effectively mandated. This might mean getting your desired unit out of state or via a 3rd party seller.
Good luck!
