This is my favorite oscillating tool, the variable speed trigger makes a big difference when starting cuts.

I'm remodeling a bathroom, removed one wall, 75 year old house and the 3/4" drywall sheets had steel reinforcement at the corners which I needed to cut, I needed to move a wall stud (for plumbing fixture location) but keep drywall up for the adjoining room.

I'm amazed just how much this tool has done for me.

If you do stuff yourself, it's so helpful.

Btw, basic metal cutting blades get destroyed by drywall screws. Carbide (I purchased Milwaukee brand carbide) blades last a very long time.
