I'd still recommend at least 144hz for that, its night and day difference.
at least 144hz? meaning 120 wouldn't be good enough, as a bare minimum? for productivity work? you can't be serious.

It's been a very long time since I've bought a monitor. Would this be good for photo editing?

I would say likely not for professional use but yes for hobbyist or general use.

Mine as well get a $50 monitor then ;p
I have both a 60hz and 144 hz and literally cannot tell the difference doing productivity work and most anything else. A higher refresh rate is really only useful in gaming or specialized use for viewing pleasures etc.

I got two of these for $130+ tax from the Amazon deal from the "used - like new" few days ago. Came in original box and it barely looks like it's been opened. I haven't opened them & plan to return them because they don't have a USB port (didn't realize before buying). Anywho, I can sell you my pair for the same price as what I paid on Amazon if you are in the Bay Area near zip 94536. DM me if you want to save a little more than this deal and don't mind the 'used-like new' from Amazon. Can show you my proof of purchase if it gives you peace of mind.
