No-- you'll probably end up breaking your TV or your controller.
You'd have to put hours into this to get the combat down.
I personally think the combat system is bad-- only from the pressure of others. Did I find myself spending so much time in this game

I HATE souls-type games (and I'm terrible at them) but I absolutely loved Elden Ring.
I didn't do any sort of cheating by looking up builds or best characters or anything and just went in blind and had a blast.

It's WAY easier than other souls games, especially when you do like I did and systematically try and complete each area of map before moving on. By doing all of the exploring you'll also be building yourself up which will make the next areas much easier.

You can kind of overlevel yourself in Elden Ring, at least moreso than I've heard you can in other Souls-like games that are more linear. It's definitely worth $15

I never played any other Souls type game before. The first believe of advice I can give you is if you are struggling on with a boss or an area, move on and come back later after you've leveled some more. No reason to bang your head against a wall if you are struggling with mechanics.

It's a coin flip. I tried to get into it and bounced 3 or 4 times before giving up completely. Felt super janky and barebones. Did co op with my brothers for a bit until we all realized we weren't having fun. My friends that clicked with it put like 500 hours into it though.
