It's a good option for getting into mirrorless... But it's not the greatest. No in body image stabilization, video is ok at best.

In my opinion is better wait for crop sensor R50 refurbished on sale for $480 with kit lens included.
The processor is newer in R50 and better auto focus.
I had the RP and sold it as I was happier with R50. I also own the R5 mark I

The rp was released as one of the first Canon R cameras. The R10 and R50 were released in 2022 and 2023 and have much faster processors.
