Basically you either have to be a Samsung, employee, a student, a military member (I think), or part of an affiliated organization. I'm a AAA member, which qualifies for the discount. You just need to use the AAA website and login using a special link to activate the savings.

I think the more important part of this version of the deal is that the 1TB is on sale for 869+ taxes

Did you apply 25SOPNOV10 (November code), or 25SOPDEC10 (December code) credit to gadgetNerd (from https://slickdeals.net/f/18849397-samsung-edu-epp-galaxy-tab-s11?v=1)

You may be right, but I'll play devil's advocate...

If the Pay Later Paypal option goes away (if you have it), you'll lose the 20% discount.

The Pay Later 20% special offer period says the order cannot be pending at the close of the offer period, although the terms aren't clear if that's the end of the whole offer or just the special offer (Special offer ends Dec 8) If it doesn't ship on time, poof goes the 20% but maybe you'll still get the 5%

I looked at the ship dates for all of the colors and 3 of them are shipping mid December. The longer it goes, the less chance to close the deal with the 20%

Thanks for the input.
Unfortunately doesn't apply to me since I was rejected for the Pay in 4 from trying in the deal last week. Now it doesn't even pop up for me

FYI, the Pay Later finance gives the 20% as well, if you qualify for that. Just be sure to read the terms if that is an option

I had no idea there was this term. So no cashback on any pre-order purchases? I guess that makes sense

The terms are a bit wishy washy. Definitely not written by a legal scholar Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

The one term completely in their favor is that PayPal has complete discretion as to rewards cut offs, etc.

I encountered the same problem the other day, I can't see it from my home internet in Texas. A friend in LA said that he can see it. So, I proxied thru to make it look like I'm from San Diego, and boom! I see the lower price! Go figure.

This one is costlier than previous deal posted couple of days ago. Referral code doesn't seem to get added for this one, hence overall price comes 70 bucks additional.
