Basically you either have to be a Samsung, employee, a student, a military member (I think), or part of an affiliated organization. I'm a AAA member, which qualifies for the discount. You just need to use the AAA website and login using a special link to activate the savings.

Did you set up a new PayPal account? In one of your posts you asked if you should do that through your edu email.

PayPal is finicky. They don't like new accounts with no history or activity. If you did a new account, that may be why you're denied. Other than that I can't help.

If above is relevant, your samsung account and your paypal don't need the same email, they aren't connected

Called them and they said they issued a 10% refund. My earlier order was for $676 before taxes so they said they will refund $68. Let's see if I get that. No free buds 3 pro sucks though
