Second, this was easily a top 3 phone deal this Black Friday. Getting a recent flagship for under $700 — or even under $600 depending on code and promo stacking was incredible.
Black Friday this year was pretty weak for deals. No one even wanted to mention what Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart were charging for this phone. The 512GB S25 Ultra was basically $1,000 at those stores, even though it had been available for $850 just 1–3 weeks earlier. We were able to bypass those terrible deals and get it for under $700 — sometimes even under $600. That's why so many people celebrated this deal.

I went for a better deal with S25U 1TB + Watch8 Classic for $813.72 before tax, plus 20% off through PayPal Pay in 4:
Subtotal$813.72
Discounts$1,346.26
Promo Code - 25SOPNOV10$90.41
SPECIAL PROMOTION$440.00
SPECIAL PROMOTION$240.00
Referral Discount(s)$69.00
Workplace Savings$230.85
Promotional Discount(s)$100.00
Bundle Discount$76.00
Order Discount$100.00
Net was about $710+ (after tax and PP 20% off).
The S25U 1TB is < $100 more than the 512GB, and with PP 20% off the difference is only ~$77 (after tax) in my case. I have an S24U 512GB and it's already 99% full, complaining on a daily basis. I also have a Watch7 but don't like its battery life. Both are meaningful upgrades for me. I don't need a second pair of the Buds3 Pro.
The referral code I used to get this price: ref-c00ygd
I missed on a possible $50 first in app purchase and I had bought and cancelled a 512 that gave me 4% more from PP (but missed other discounts) that did not show up on the rebuy
Did you get $50 for a first in app purchase buried in there somewhere?
Solid deal in tradition slickdeals fashion. Too many people caving in to so-so deals.

So yeah 600-700 is good comparatively, but I'm voting with my wallet and will not celebrate it as a deal. Will wait until end of Feb and see what s26 brings. Until then, I'm sporting my S24 Ultra, cracked screen and all without care of dropping it. I'm might even to the OP15 , leaving Samsung for first time in 6 years. Time to change it up a bit.
The ship date even got moved up to the first week of December!
