I can't tell from the pics - inside the glass where the food touches - is there a ceramic grill thingy? Or is it only glass that touches the food?

There a ceramic tray inside the glass. The unit is terrific. Have used the top rated Philips air fryer for years and this is far better. And no teflon to flake off and easy cleanup

Same price on the manufacturer website: https://www.sharkninja.com/ninja-...lor=646d6a

At the bottom of the page, there is an offer for a 10% coupon if you sign up for the brand newsletter. So that might stack.

This is a larger size and less portable. If you want something smaller and portable you can get the crispi (not pro) at $125 at Costco.

Is this one better with more modes tho? Trying to see the value in portability for an airfryer in my kitchen.

Got the regular Crispi from Costco. Should I get this if I want to be able to do a 5lbs chicken?

This one is generally better. It is bigger, has more power (1800 watts vs 1500 watts), has adjustable time and temperature instead of presets. The extra Dehydrate mode seems like a gimmick to me.

Wow we have come full circle now we're back to the Nutrichef style countertop convection ovens from the 90s. Nice.

To be fair, they always looked cool! I wonder why they didn't last very long

I always put my food on foil in any air fryer so no teflon is involved. If that works for any one else..

I enjoyed seeing my food cook so much that I threw my 65" TV in the garbage and placed the Ninja Crispi Pro 6-in-1 Glass Air Fryer where the TV use to be. AND everyone loves it.

You put food into it and watch it cook... now that's DAMN GOOD TV.
