I bought this sleeping bag last year when it was $15 and it went on several trips with my son and he was just fine. Obviously it is not a super cold weather bag, but he was comfortable even into the 40s.

For 10 bucks a better bag than you would expect.

You will freeze in this bag at 40 degrees. It will be ok at 60.

Wish they listed weight and compressed size. Might be great for keeping in the trunk.

Mummy style bag with that bad of a temperature rating is a bit ridiculous IMO.

Looks good for 50, but then that's about what I usually need these days. You'd probably need to layer to be comfortable at 40 or below.

Amused by the "climb Everest" folks. It's 10 bucks. Meant for kids in the backyard. Kids who get it will be thrilled about the adventure.

It looks like this hasn't been to subjected to either ISO/ANSI or EN testing standards, which means the temperature rating is worth fark all.

4.2lb for 40deg is prob the highest weight to warmth ratio I have ever seen for a sleeping bag. Don't get this for backpacking. Or cold weather car camping. For a summer car camping bag, it's not great either, but hey, it's $10.

can i use this for climbing the Everest next weekend? just booked the travel, need a few last minute gears just in case. Was thinking about to pick up something similar from Target, this seems to be a bit cheaper.

For Everest this isnt good enough. I suggest you take a look at Temu or Aliexpress. Those are the highest quality to stand up to the demands of the weather conditions in Everest

I'm 5'11" and this was a good fit. They also make one that is 88" instead of 84". Packed up, it's about the size of a paper towel roll? Maybe 3/4 the height and a bit fatter (double+ roll)

I took it on a memorial day backpacking trip this year. It was 45 overnight and I slept comfortably.
