No physical remote. I installed this for my 83 year old aunt with hearing issues. Overall pleased, outside of lack of remote. (which is not uncommon)

True wireless it both will need to be plugged in via outlet. They are the size of a soda can…kinda. Also the sub will need an outlet. Of course soundbar too.

Sound is…fine. A true "get what you pay for " setup

I just tossed my new vizio soundbar, what a pile of crap. Have to use your phone as remote. Mine just stopped working.

Insignia one is most likely built by Hisense, because the soundbar font is exactly the same and in the same spot as my Costco Ax700 which is a clone of Hisense Ax514q. I've had two Vizio Soundbar/Woofer systems and each one after 2 years, the subwoofer just decides to break. The last set, the subwoofer also killed the wireless speakers since those connected to the sub.

I refused to buy Vizio this time around. I went with Hisense. Maybe try the Insignia it also has up firing speakers in the front soundbar.

Coincidentally I just ALSO returned the AX700 because it's very similar to what all of the reviews imply: cuts in/out and hangs way too long when switching to Atmos. I'm talking my LG C1 waiting 10 seconds on a black screen. Also can't do any updates as it's not listed on Costco's website and its "auto update" feature is...broken.

Just awful all around

Additionally, when I bought this very same 5.1 at Sams last week online it was retailing for $250. Walmart is implying its retail is $199. I will now always check Walmart before Sams as that's a major error pricing wise, especially as Sams is a paid membership so the implication is that its pricing SHOULD be lower than Walmart

After my previous experience with a Vizio sound bar, I wouldn't take this if it were free. Constant audio cutouts, audio sync issues...ahhh
