Seems like a solid deal for a complete PC. 9070xt + 9800x3d is about $1000-$1100, ram is another $200.

Throw in case, HD, PSU, mobo, cooler, and windows license....great deal actually.

I don't know what brand mobo/ram/SSD they use, but it probably fine for most users

This seems like a solid deal. Skytech is one of the best prebuilt brands and returning it to Walmart is as easy as it gets if there are any problems.

Looks like a Asus prime board. Honestly I just built a new PC with the same GPU and CPU and I went well over this (slightly large budget on aesthetics and huge budget on the motherboard to experiment with a enterprise grade hyperscaler at home for work). If you don't really need more out of your motherboard (if you need to ask, you probably don't) and you like the aesthetics of this pre built, it's a pretty decent buy

I would hold on to it for a few months and it will probably be worth more than the whole PC.

Why does User Benchmarks show the 9070xt as being weaker than even the RTX 5070 (non TI). Is it inaccurate?

Because userbenchmarks has years old bias against and. For processors and guys. Site owner likely got fired from there and is bitter. Nobody takes that site seriously anymore.

Got it. I haven't bought a gaming PC for 8 years so I'm out of the loop on good websites / where components rank. Thinking of getting this for 1440p ultrawide gaming, hoping it'll stay pretty fast for at least 5 years

The RAM is more like $300 now and it's rising weekly.

This will easily handle 1440p. It's an entry level 4K machine.

Was considering building a 9800X3D system and putting a 3090 in it that I have but 9070XT could be not far off from it and the complete system for a few hundred more than I'd build my own is tempting. I've had good luck with Skytech in the past
