Can fine tune grind size. More uniform distribution of grinds of desired size and fewer "fines" (dust) that clog up coffee filters and add bitterness

Way worse as long as you got a CONICAL burr grinder. If you bought a flat burr bladed one then not much.

And this has a removable bowl, whereas many do not. After research, the next best I could find was a KitchenAid grinder with two bowls, for $55. So I got two of these HB's, one for coffee, one for spices. I'll give it a try, not as much to lose at this price.
