This Straight Talk iPhone 13 deal stands out as a low-cost way to get an older but still capable iPhone with a SIM card slot, strong cameras, MagSafe, and solid battery life. The A15 chip keeps it close to the iPhone 14 and not far behind the iPhone 15 for everyday use, and the size and 0.5x lens make it appealing for travel or filming. The main drawback is age, since iOS support is shorter and newer updates can slow it down or drain battery. Unlocking also takes patience, with reports of 60 day service requirements and occasional rebranding or activation hassles.

  • Buyers wanting a temporary phone that can be unlocked later, because Straight Talk service can unlock it after about 60 days.

  • People who still need a physical SIM slot, because this model is the last U.S. iPhone with one and makes carrier swaps easier.

  • Parents buying a simple hand-me-down phone for kids, because it has the same processor as the iPhone 14 and is described as a great kids' phone.

  • Creators filming on a budget, because the extra camera lens includes a 0.5x option that helps with vlogging.

  • Shoppers who want a guaranteed instant unlock, because iPhone unlocks can take extra days, need support tickets, or fail to update right away.

  • People who want long software support, because this phone is already considered old and may only have a few years of updates left.

  • Heavy multitaskers who keep the newest iOS features enabled, because the latest software can slow this phone down and hurt battery life.

This is not a slick deal or black Friday deal considering it has been this way for close to 6 months this year. People are desperate for deals, huh?

iPhone 13 uses same chip as iPhone 14 basically and actually gets better battery life than the 14. It also doesn't have some of the known issues that the 14 has with its camera.. Also this is almost identical performance wise of the iPhone 15. But the 13-15 are virtually the same.
How you managed to squeeze so much misinformation into just one post, is quite impressive in itself.

He's literally correct though... 13-15 was barely any improvement

How do I do this deal or similar with ST and then add the line to an existing straight talk account so I can get the multi line discount?

Note the new "liquid jeez" theme Apple introduced in their latest OS slows down this phone quite a bit.
Agree. iPhone 13 Pro Max here and that update has made it very frustrating. Laggy, missing keyboard, etc. wish I could rollback the update.

Isn't the 5g modem on the 15 supposedly better?

What does the math work out to for paying $50 more?

Sorry. That promo must've just ended. It was $299 online + 2 mos service or $199 in store + 2 mos service.

Dont buy these. Too old. If you want a phone with sim card sure. These have only few years of support left
They've had E-SIM support since iPhone 10. You don't "have" to have a physical SIM card anymore.
