Not really a deal. Dyson is just playing a pricing game. I was looking at this a couple of days ago and it was priced around $200 and then when the eBay coupon was in play they increased the price to offset the coupon.

So how did you figure that these are different models? I'm not arguing, but rather wanting to know this because I thought it was just a different color and there's no model numbers on any of the product descriptions. The only difference I could tell from these are the attachments.

The model (in the name) is the "supersonic nural". The older one is just the "supersonic".
