I dont see any new gift cards. I assume this part of the promotion is dead. I will double down on the comments that deals steadily got worse for the C5 77 and 83 in particular.

Yes, I was hoping that Black Friday will have good deals and didn't pull the trigger during the earlier deals. I feel like it's not going to be good anymore.

For anyone thinking the gift card promotion has returned, it hasn't... yet. And I sort of doubt that it does, as they likely have as many reviews as necessary by this point. And sadly, this means their best deals were reserved for early to mid November.

My two cents here: deals through the LG partner store are quite good and tempting but their customer service is the worst ever. I got a 77" C5 a couple months ago and after 2-3 weeks I started to notice a few white pixel flashes popping across the whole screen most noticeable in a black background. I called LG customer service and it has been a month and issue has not been resolved. They scheduled several tech repair visits and they canceled all, I sent videos and pictures of the issue and two technical repair services both said it was a defective panel. The last one said that they will need to take the TV to their shop for panel replacement, but LG told me that repair was supposed to be onsite and if not possible to repair at home then options will be given to me. But then they changed their mind and told me that I need to let them take the TV to their shop and let me watch a wall for 3-4 days and if they determined that the TV is unrepairable, then a replacement could be sent in a week or two. Absolutely a painful process to deal with their customer service reps (I spoke and chatted with 6-8 reps in this process). I ended up requesting a full refund as I don't want to deal with LG directly anymore in the future... still filling up forms and talking to reps for this to be approved. I would highly recommend to spend a couple more hundred dollars and buy a unit from Costco or Best Buy as they have also extended warranties and their customer service is a thousand times much more effective. You are advised.

Resurrecting this old thread - anyone see the 83" C5 for under 3k lately? I'm building out a space for that TV and am hoping to get something for Superbowl Sunday but prices aren't budging.
