How is this compared to the ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G16 16"? It has 1 TB less HD, but wanted to see how is the gaming experience.

I have been playing games on it for about a month and it ran really smooth. I am using a cooling pad which is pretty much required for all gaming laptop. It weight\s slightly more and battery life isn't as good as the Asus, I had to return the ASUS because it overheated, but I think it might have been that I had a bad motherboard on mine.

When I brought it back to BB, the didn't have one in stock so gave me the mSI one instead.

Sound quality is better on Asus, not to say the MSI is bad but you do hear the difference. Asus is missing the number pad on the right which the MSI has. MSI don't have dedicated media buttons and need to use the function key which is annoying.but tolerable.

I'd say for gaming, MSI seems to do a better job than Asus
productivity I would lean towards Asus

Stats are very similar. so it all comes down to what you do more. You can't go wrong with either.
