Love the specs and price.. Can anyone knowledgeable respond with if this is good value and are the parts of good quality with no issues ? And is this upgradable?

This is a good deal if you don't mind or want an AMD CPU and GPU. This same PC was a +49 FP deal in July. Performance-wise, it compares to the recent Lenovo Legion Tower 5i deal. Both were $1500 ($50 more than this one).

Not sure why the downvote. No one uses this CPU for gaming. You will be leaving a LOT of performance on the table just to save a little.
I am not downvoting you, but I do disagree a little with your statement. I don't think the CPU matters as much if someone is doing 1440p to 4K gaming, as the CPU cache isn't as important since the frames drop due to the quality being ramped up. Now, if someone was getting this for 1080p with insanely high frame rates, then this CPU is definitely not ideal.

If someone is playing in 1080p then they shouldn't be looking at a $1500 PC anyway. The 9070XT is an entry level 4K card.

The CPU is the only reason why the price looks good here. For a 9070 XT most people would pair it with either a 9800X3D, 7800X3D or a 9700X. Putting a 12 core CPU in a gaming PC just doesn't make any sense. That's why they can sell this PC for this price because they bought a lot of them in bulk because no one wants that CPU.

my son's pc is unplayable at this point. its an 8 year old cyberpowerpc, that i gave him 2 years ago. at that time, i upgraded to a cyberpower with ryzen 5 5500 (3.6ghz), amd rx6700 8gb, 16gb ram. i can play arc raiders on 1440 with acceptable quality at 60-80fps. my computer doesnt scream, obv, but its really more than i need. what i plan to do is now give him my current pc (that i purchased 2 years ago) and buy something new for me. ive never spent more than about $900. it feels with the ram crisis that prices are just out of control. this is the first thing that i see that i actually like the specs of. the walmart deals from last month for 5070 are gone, or i would have bought one of them.
on paper, this seems pretty good (in that it exceeds all the specs of the stuff ive been looking at for $900-$1200 by a good margin with the ryzen 9 and 32gb ram). can anyone point to another system that is currently better for the price?

This is 32gb ram, but 8GB in VRam for GPU, you can always upgrade the GPU later on if needed.
