If you read the terms and conditions, you can only redeem this on a Hulu or ESPN account. The Disney/Hulu bundle is billed through Disney. It states you cannot redeem this if billed on Disney, making the AMEX card member discount of $7 ineffective for the additional $3 bucks (Disney bundle $5 plus what people wanted of HBO $3 totaling $8 bucks). I personally tried and no go.

I'd go stand alone because in 2026 Hulu itself goes bye bye and will be a tab in Disney+.

I wasn't able to get the deal through Hulu since I took advantage of the deal through Disney+, so I had to go directly to HBO Max and get the same deal

Are you sure you got both the $5 bundle offer and $3 HBO add-on offer on the same Hulu/Disney+ account? Nobody on this thread was able to do that as far as I can tell. You're the only person reporting you got both. For everyone else, once we signed up for the $5 bundle, the HBO add on was $10. If one was already on a non-discounted price only then did they get the $3 add-on price. Thats why most folks signed up for HBO separately (directly via the HBO site).Do confirm your billing once it goes through. Not sure how you made it work. I guess congrats if you did.

I created 2 seperate accounts, with same email, by adding . in between some letters.

As I mentioned, I signed up
hulu + hbo = 2.99
hulu+disneyplus - 4.99

So I am paying $1 after amex credits

See your account. HBO is add-on $2.99 on top of base Hulu. Which is $11.99. Hulu+HBO is not $2.99.So you are paying $20 in all. Instead of $8.
