I have this one and the older Wyze 2 watching litter boxes. I use both of them with SD storage. I access them with the app, which requires going through their servers, no direct LAN access. The OG is ridiculously slow when accessing video. When scrolling back to see when a litter box 'event' occurred, the Wyze 2 lets me stop every hour or so, watch a couple seconds, then keep scrolling. The OG takes 30 seconds or a minute each time I stop to buffer or something.
To be fair, it seems to record just fine. The video looks good, day and night. This is probably an ok camera if you're using it a different way.

It was $10 last year. Inflation is real.

Hoping there's another $10 deal this year.

Litter box event? You trying to find out who else is going in there? 🤣

For a similar use case, which would you prefer? Blink mini 2?

What you described is a bug on the OG cameras. Is was reported to Wyze several months ago & has never been resolved. I just replaced an OG with a V4. You couldn't give me another OG. No wonder it's so cheap.

"Original Gangster" although, the emphasis has been moved off the gangster side and on to the original side.

That's my exact experience as well. Everytime I jump forward or backwards in the recording, I pause and resume the video because for some reason that helps.

All the Wyze BF hype turn out to be higher prices versus last week. Your competition will eat up the sales

I have my eye on the WYZE Cam Pan v3. My doctor says she wants to monitor me while I sleep. My question is, can I remove the microSD card > copy over the video file > and then upload them to my doctor?
Also, which format would the file be in?
